STORY

ART MILESTONE:

Sagittarius was a friendly reminder of how tiny mistakes can lead to a whole undiscovered path.

I had this whole thing envisioned in advance! I knew how I wanted her to look like, the position, elements, color palette and the overall vibe was crystal clear to me, so I jumped directly into it.

But only after I finished this drawing I realised something was missing... 

When I first started the Zodiac collection I had the idea of using subtle -yet specific- details that would connect the pieces as a cohesive series. These tiny elements should be included in every piece, such as the sign's star constellation interacting directly with each design, which I completely forgot about here.

Her hands were already busy with other elements and her posture was perfectly balanced to add more stuff, so I had to find an alternative -seamlessly merged- way to include it into the finished piece. Luckily, after a few trials it turned out even better than expected.
